How PoofMail handles temporary inbox content, usage data, cookies, analytics, and abuse-prevention data.

Last updated: July 2026

1. Overview

PoofMail is designed to reduce unnecessary exposure of your primary email address. We collect the minimum data needed to provide temporary inbox functionality, protect the service from abuse, and understand site usage.

2. Information we process

  • Temporary inbox content: messages received by temporary addresses when inbox delivery is active. These are intended to stay short-lived rather than permanent.
  • Usage and security data: basic request, device, IP, and abuse-prevention signals needed to operate and defend the service.
  • Analytics data: aggregate page and feature usage to improve the product.

3. Retention

Temporary inbox messages are intended to expire automatically after a short retention window. Limited technical and security information may be retained separately to protect the service and prevent abuse. Read the dedicated page for the practical boundary.

4. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

On the public main site at poofmail.xyz, PoofMail uses Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand aggregate visits, page use, and usability. They are not loaded on the utility inbox at app.poofmail.xyz. PoofMail may also use cookies or local browser storage to keep the current inbox usable during a session.

PoofMail includes Google AdSense code only on selected guide pages to connect those pages with Google’s advertising service. The code may be present while ad serving remains approval-dependent. If ads are approved and enabled, Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or similar identifiers to serve and measure ads based on visits to this and other sites. Google’s advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on those visits. You can manage personalized-ad preferences through ; learn how .

5. Service providers

PoofMail may use trusted service providers to help operate, secure, and support the service. They may process data only as needed to provide those services.

6. Acceptable-use boundary

PoofMail is not intended for fraud, harassment, impersonation, breaking platform rules, or illegal activity. We may restrict service access or investigate reported misuse. Read the for the full boundary.
